Essential Qualification
● A recognized medical Qualification included to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holdersofeducational qualifications included in Part II of third schedule shouldalsofulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of IMCtheAct)- 1956
● Double Post Graduate i.e. MD/MS along with M.Ch. (ThoracicSurgery)/M.Ch. (Cardio Thoracic Surgery) or Speciality board of ThoracicSurgery (USA) OR equivalent.
● In case a M.Ch. (CTS) candidate is not available, M.S.(Surgery)withexperience in Thoracic Surgery will also be considered.
Experience
● Two years working experience after obtaining the first Postgraduate Degree of MS/MD.
