NIPB Research Associate recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The Essential qualification and Desirable qualification are detailed below.
Essential Qualification
For Ph.D degree holders, PhD degree in the field of Molecular Biology/Plant Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Science/Botany/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant Pathology/Plant physiology/Microbiology.
OR
For Master’s degree holders, Master’s degree in the field of Molecular Biology/Plant Biotechnology /Biochemistry/Life Science/Botany/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant Pathology/Plant physiology/Microbiology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA, with at-least 3 years’ of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/ associateship/ training/other engagement.
Desirable Qualification
Research experience in plant molecular biology, gene cloning, construct development, tissue culture, plant transformation in rice, other wet lab work, development and analysis of transgenic plants, genome editing in plants, Knowledge about bioinformatics tools, Scientific writing as evidenced form publication/fellowship/ associateship/training.
