MBBS With state valid state medical council Registration + Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Health care setup.
1. Training in Palliative Care 2. Excellent Proficiency in English both Written and verbal. Good proficiency in Hindi & local languages 3. Willing to travel to visit patients at home care setup
Roles and Responsibilities :
IPD –
To take ward rounds daily.
Independently carry out a comprehensive patient assessment and develop a medical management plan.
Present the ward round to a senior palliative care physician.
Ensure that inputs of Specialist Palliative care physicians in the team are sought, taken, documented, and implemented for patient care plans.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of care in patient records including electronic medical records.
Independently carry out minor procedures at ward level like nasogastric tube insertion, urinary catheter insertion, wound management, etc.
Keep up-to-date knowledge of the pharmacology of medications that are commonly used in palliative care. OPD –
Provide clinical care to patients referred through external OPDs.
Triage the patients seen in external OPDs for OPD consultation or admission at day care or home care registration as per the need.
Interview/Written Exam or both(at Academic Block, Medical College Building, AIIMS Bathinda)

Two passport-size photographs.
Self-attested photocopies of relevant documents pertaining to educational qualifications and experiences.
