Marital Status : Only unmarried male and female candidates will be eligible for enrolment as Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar (Sports).
Pay & Allowance/Pensions
Pay and Allowances : Pay & allowances for direct entry Havildar and Naib Subedar shall be same as applicable to existing Regular Serving Personnel of Indian Army as per provision of Army pay Rules, 2017 and amendments thereon.
Pension : Pensionary benefits will be governed as per the extant provisions contained in Pension Regulations for the Army -2008 and amended from time to time.
Other Benefits : All other benefits viz. CSD, medical facilities etc shall be applicable to them, as existing for Regular Serving Personnel of Indian Army and amendments from time to time.
Insurance Cover
Insurance cover and deduction of premium will be applicable as per existing norms applicable for Regular Serving Personnel of Join Indian Army.
Join Indian Army Selection Criteria
Deserving candidates would be called to appear for trials at designated Army Centres. The candidates qualifying physical fitness test, physical Standards test and skill test will undergo medical examination at trials site itself. The offer of enrolment will be forwarded to the selected candidates only, which will be strictly determined by requirement in particular sports disciplines and availability of vacancies. Request for change of venue of selection trials will not be entertained.
