Railway Recruitment Board(RPF) has released RPF SI Exam Date 2024 official notification for releasing the Railway police force(RPF) Sub-Inspector(SI) Exam Date and Admit Card for its CBT exam. RPF SI Exam Date 2024 | RPF Exam Date 2024
As the date are coming for the RPF SI Exam date 2024 the students can download their admit card from the official website, the upcoming dates for exams are 12th,13th admit card for these date will be available on 7th, 8th, 9th respectively. The exam will be held on 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 12th, 13th December 2024.
The RPF SI exam is a Computer Based Test(CBT) Pattern & Syllabus of CBT:
- Total Duration: 90 minutes & Total Questions: 120
- Candidates shall be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. No mark shall be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted
- There shall be negative marking @1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
- Normalization of marks will be done for CBTs held in multiple shifts.
- Minimum pass percentage for eligibility: UR, EWS and OBC-NCL – 35%, SC & ST – 30%
- The marks scored in CBT shall be counted for shortlisting of candidates for further stages of this recruitment process
- Syllabus for CBT: Questions will be of objective type with multiple choice answers and are likely to cover topics pertaining to the following syllabus Arithmetic (35 marks):
Questions on Number System, Whole Numbers, Decimal & Fractions and relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Use of Tables & Graphs, Mensuration, Time & Distance, etc. - General Intelligence and Reasoning (35 marks):
Questions on Analogies, Similarities and Differences, Spatial Visualization, Spatial Orientation, Problem Solving Analysis, Judgement, Decision Making, Visual Memory, Discriminating observation, Relationship concepts, Arithmetical Reasoning, Verbal & Figure classification, Arithmetic number series, Non-verbal series, Coding and Decoding, Statement- Conclusion, Syllogistic reasoning, etc. - General Awareness (50 marks):
Questions will be aimed at testing the candidates’ general awareness of the Environment around him/her and its application to society; to test knowledge of current Events and such matters of everyday observation and experience as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to Indian History, Art and Culture, Geography, Economics, General Polity, Indian Constitution, Sports, General Science, etc
